We're Bringing Lunar New Year to Larchmont Village for the First Time!
For years, Larchmont Village has been a beloved hub for community gatherings, farmers' markets, and local culture. But this year, something new and exciting is coming to the neighborhood—its very first Lunar New Year celebration!
The American Born Chinese Foundation, Suá Superette, Fly By Jing, and Chevalier's Books are joining forces to create a FREE day of cultural celebration on February 22nd from 10 AM-3 PM, right alongside the famous Larchmont Farmers Market. Together, we're transforming the village into a vibrant celebration of Asian culture and heritage.
Join us for the thunderous drums of a Lion Dance performance echoing down the street, red envelopes being passed to excited children, the aroma of Asian-inspired food trucks filling the air, and families gathering to learn calligraphy, play Mahjong, and watch Kung Fu demonstrations. Kids will be captivated by author readings of Asian children's books, while adults can savor coffee and boba tea or discover new flavors at our tea tasting stations.
This isn't just an event—it's a moment to bring our community together, to celebrate traditions both old and new, and to create lasting memories for families across Larchmont Village.
This is a FREE event for the public! Register for updates about the event. Please consider donating and join us in making history in Larchmont Village!
